Emeka C. Anen

I am a laid back, part-time Type-A individual with a bad habit of working hard and yet working even harder to make it all seem effortless. As a student leader I spent my undergraduate years at the University of North Carolina, in the Gillings School of Global Public Health and the Kenan-Flagler Business School, often juxtaposed between appearances on the Dean’s Lists and eternities spent in extracurricular engagements. I am satirical, politically correct, politely blunt, and occasionally relatively ridiculous by nature. I get along quite well with most people. I strongly believe that there is a direct correlation between the amount of senses of humor one has and their levels of awesomeness. I am 100% about emitting good vibes and assuming best intentions in people.  I am a caring person – with a big heart, a lot of drive, and a desire to help improve the world. Lastly, I often oscillate between bouts of wordiness and moments of extremely choppy syntax. My AP English teachers loved me.

… This site

This site chronicles my views, opinions, and interpretations on the world around us as it relates to politics and some economic/health policy issues while simultaneously allowing me to share with you my journeys and observations through life as I venture into adulthood, gray hairs, and home mortgages. As I grow it will grow; as I change, it too will change. Do not be surprised by sudden changes. I host and configure everything on this site myself with no formal training, and thus I am continuously looking for ways to make my presentation more cohesive and more appealing. The content is public because it is my hope that we can develop a community, share ideas, and be of assistance to each other. Perhaps I have experience in a field where you have interests or vice versa. As a visitor to this site I only ask that you positively interact and share your ideas, interests, and knowledge with the rest of us.

Overall, my mantra in life is “Here to Help” and I’d like to invite you to join me.
